How to Activate SBI debit card for Online transaction

Online transactions becomes part of our Daily lives. As you can buy anything from your Fingertips, more people are interested to make spends Online.
If you have a State Bank of India (SBI) Savings Bank account, then, are you facing any issues for making Online transactions through SBI Virtual Debit card ? Like you are placing an order on Amazon, Myntra, Ajio and on other online Shopping apps but the payment is not completed successfully ?
Do you wonder, Why ?
Simply, your SBI Virtual Debit card is not enabled for Online E-Commerce transactions.
In this post, I will discuss completely about How to Activate SBI debit card for Online transaction through SBI Yono App under 2 Minutes.

10 Steps on How to Activate SBI debit card for Online transaction through SBI Yono app
Step 1:
Open “SBI Yono app” and Login with User Name & Password or with Mobile PIN number (MPIN).
Step 2:
Now, Tap on the “Cards” section to enable your SBI virtual debit card for your E-commerce transactions.
Step 3:
Once you tap on it, you can see all your SBI Debit Cards and select “My Debit Cards” option.
Step 4:
Once you do that, another screen will be displayed and its interface will look like this.
If you look at the top here, you can see the “Account” section. Here, you have to select your Debit card which was linked to your SBI bank account and also your debit card details will be displayed here.
Step 5:
Now, to enable E-Commerce transactions for your Virtual Debit card, if you look at the bottom, you can see “Manage Usage & Limits” option and Tap on it.
Step 6:
Now, you can see my SBI Virtual Debit card with the below selected options.
I kept “Domestic Usage” as On.
I kept “International usage” as Off
You can enable / disable as per your requirement.
Step 7:
If you look at the bottom, you can see “E-Commerce Transactions” option and you have to turn it on.
When it is not enabled, it looks in “Gray” color i.e. Disabled. it means, you can’t do any E-commerce transactions using this debit card.
So, just tap it, to enable it.
When you tap it up, it will turn into “Blue” colour and now you will be ready to process E-Commerce transactions on this SBI Virtual Debit card.
Step 8:
Also, even if you have not received the OTP so far or else the transaction has not been completed successfully, then, you won’t get that problem now and your problem will be resolved.
So, turn on “E-Commerce transactions” option and tap on “Save changes”.
Step 9:
Once you tap that, you will receive an OTP to your SBI register mobile number, enter that “OTP” and tap on the “Submit” button.
Step 10:
After entering it, it will be displayed as “Usage and Limits updated Successfully” for your Virtual debit card.
Now simply tap on “Ok” button.
Now, you can shop on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and also can do E-Commerce related transactions, and also you can also Successfully book train tickets through IRCTC and other online apps without any hustle.
This way, you can do these E-Commerce transactions in less than one minute by sitting at home quite easily.
