Do you need to Transfer money from HDFC to any other Bank, say, SBI, ICICI, or Union Bank, etc., Transferring money from one bank to another bank can be done in multiple ways like NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, etc.,
In this article, let’s see How to Transfer money instantly through HDFC Bank using IMPS to other banks easily.
Step 1:
Firstly, open the “HDFC Mobile banking app” on your Mobile.
Step 2:
Now, Login into the app using the User name, Password (or) using your Fingerprint (or) using HDFC PIN number.
Step 3:
After logging in, your HDFC Dashboard will look like this. Now, Tap on the “Menu” section which appears on the top left.
Step 4:
Now tap on the “PAY” section.
Then, Tap on the “Money Transfer” option for the IMPS transfer.
Step 5:
Once you tapped, it displays your HDFC Savings Bank account details, along with your Bank balance from the Bank account, the amount will be transferred.
Step 6:
After that, you have to Enter the Beneficiary or Money receiver, to whom you want to transfer money through IMPS.
The beneficiary is to be entered here, which will be mentioned as “To”. i.e. “Enter Payee name”. If you have already added the Beneficiary, then select the beneficiary by searching.
In case the beneficiary is not added, you need to add him by tapping on “Add/ Manage Payees”
Step 7:
After the beneficiary was selected, you should enter the amount you want to transfer in the “Amount” column.
Step 8:
Now, you don’t need to input “Date”, the system will automatically capture today’s date.
Step 9:
After that, you should select “Transfer Mode”. It is a mode of transfer by which you would like to transfer funds. As discussed earlier, we are going to discuss IMPS fund transfer. Let’s select the “IMPS (Immediate)” option. Here IMPS is already selected by default.
Through this IMPS you can transfer money to another bank account immediately.

Step 10:
Later on, you need to fill in the “Remarks column”. In this, mention your Purpose of Transaction like Shopping, Rent, and tap on the “Continue” button.
Step 11:
Now, all the transaction details will be displayed. Once Re-Check it and if you think all details are proper, then, tick “I accept the terms and conditions”.
Then, tap on the “Confirm” button.
Step 12:
Now to verify this transaction, you have to select an OTP request mode either to your HDFC Registered Mobile or Mail ID. So select one of these two options.
Step 13:
Once you tap that, you will get OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter it here and tap the “Continue” button.
Step 14:
After doing so, a message will be displayed on the screen saying “Your request for IMPS transaction has been completed successfully”
And also an immediate message will be received saying Money transferred from HDFC to another bank immediately and also the money will be transferred immediately to the receiver or beneficiary.
